Hi folks. I am looking for a reliable roofing material to replace the old worn-out covering on my house in Slovenia. For me, there are two critical factors - the roof must be lightweight so it does not put too much pressure on the old walls, and it must offer maximum longevity with a genuine warranty from the manufacturer. I really do not want to buy something that will start rusting, peeling, or cracking in ten years, because a second roof replacement is something I cannot afford in the future. I want to do it right once and forget about it for the rest of my life. Are there any truly durable lightweight materials on the market that come with a long official guarantee instead of empty marketing promises? What would you recommend based on your own experience?
